Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Platoga is developed and operated by Money Lat and/or its affiliates or authorized representatives (“Money Lat”, “we”, “us”, “our” or the “Company”). Our goal is to give you valuable trading education through the Platoga mobile application for iOS and Android (the “App”), this website and related services (together, the “Service”).

2. Agreement overview

By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference, which means it is part of the Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service. Translations of these Terms are provided for convenience. If there is any discrepancy between versions, the English version prevails, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.

3. Eligibility

To use Platoga you must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you need permission from your parent or legal guardian, and they must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

4. What we offer

1. Platoga provides educational trading content, including short lessons, quizzes, interactive chart exercises, risk and position-size calculators, progress features such as XP and streaks, and an AI tutor. All of these materials are referred to as “Digital Content”.
2. Some content may be available for free, for example the onboarding demo. Full access to Digital Content requires an active Platoga Pro subscription (see Section 8).
3. We regularly add, update and remove content and features to improve the Service. The availability of specific lessons, tools or features may change over time and may vary by language or region.

5. Educational purpose only; no investment advice

5.1 No financial advice

Platoga is an educational platform. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax or any other professional advice, nor a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any security, currency, cryptocurrency, commodity or other financial instrument. Examples, charts, strategies and scenarios in the Service are illustrative and used only to explain concepts.

5.2 We are not a broker or adviser

Money Lat is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, financial planner, exchange or trading platform, and is not registered as such with any financial regulator. Using the Service does not create any advisory, fiduciary or brokerage relationship between you and us.

5.3 No real money

Platoga does not execute trades, does not hold or move funds, and does not connect to brokerage, exchange or bank accounts. Chart exercises use historical or simulated data for learning purposes only. Results in exercises do not reflect real trading conditions such as slippage, fees, liquidity or emotions.

5.4 Risk of loss

Trading and investing in financial markets involve substantial risk, including the possible loss of all the money you invest. Past or simulated performance is not indicative of future results. Any decision to trade or invest is yours alone, made at your own discretion and your own risk. If you need advice for your personal situation, please consult a qualified, licensed professional.

6. AI tutor

The Service includes “Plato”, an AI tutor powered by third-party artificial intelligence models (the “AI Tutor”). The AI Tutor is provided for educational purposes only and is not intended to provide investment advice.

6.1 Your content

When you use the AI Tutor, you may provide messages (“Input”) and receive responses generated from your Input (“Output”). Together, Input and Output are “Content”. You own your Input and, as between you and us, we assign to you any rights we have in the Output. You allow us and our service providers to process Content to operate, maintain and improve the AI Tutor, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as passwords, account numbers or government IDs) in your messages.

6.2 Nature of AI content

Because of how machine learning works, Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or not unique across users, and other users may receive the same or similar responses. Do not rely on Output as a sole source of truth or as advice for any financial decision. You are responsible for evaluating Output and for how you use it.

6.3 Fair use

To keep the Service fast and available for everyone, the AI Tutor has a daily message limit and may be temporarily unavailable. You agree not to use the AI Tutor to generate unlawful, harmful or abusive content, or to try to extract its system instructions or bypass its safeguards.

7. Your account

To save your progress and subscription across devices, you create an account using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple or Google account secure and for all activity that happens through your Platoga account. Please contact us right away if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

You can delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → Delete account) or by emailing us. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and learning progress. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription, which is managed by Apple or Google (see Section 9).

8. Subscriptions and free trials

8.1 Platoga Pro

Platoga Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that gives you access to all lessons, the AI Tutor, tools and new content for as long as it is active. We may offer different plans, for example weekly or annual, at the prices shown in the App before you purchase. Prices are shown in your local currency where available and may include applicable taxes.

8.2 Free trials

Some plans may include a free trial (for example, 3 days). Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts into a paid subscription and you will be charged the price of the plan you selected. Free trials are limited to one per person and per eligible plan, as determined by Apple or Google.

8.3 Automatic renewal

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period for the same period and at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

8.4 Price changes

We may change subscription prices and the content included in a subscription from time to time and by territory. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any price change, as required by Apple, Google and applicable law. If you do not agree with a new price, you can cancel your subscription before the change applies to you.

9. Billing, cancellation and refunds

9.1 Payment

All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), using the payment method linked to your store account. We never receive or store your full card details. Payment is subject to the terms and policies of the store you purchase from.

9.2 How to cancel

• iPhone and iPad: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Platoga, then tap Cancel Subscription. You can also go to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
• Android: open the Google Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Platoga, then tap Cancel. You can also go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.

Deleting the App or your Platoga account does not cancel your subscription. After you cancel, you keep access to Platoga Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.

9.3 Refunds

Because purchases are processed by Apple or Google, refund requests are handled by them under their policies. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or from Google through your Google Play order history. Except where required by law or by store policy, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partially used periods. If you live in a country where you have a statutory right of withdrawal or other consumer rights, nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

9.4 Restoring purchases

If you change devices, sign in with the same account and use “Restore purchases” in the App to recover your subscription.

10. Privacy and data

We collect, store and process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we process your data in the way and for the purposes described there.

11. Intellectual property and license

1. All content in the Service, including lessons, texts, quizzes, charts, graphics, logos, the “Platoga” and “Plato” names, software and the selection and arrangement of materials, is owned by Money Lat or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
2. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning. No other rights are granted to you unless expressly stated in these Terms.
3. Information you provide to us, such as your onboarding answers (“User Content”), remains yours. You give us a license to use it as reasonably needed to operate and improve the Service and as described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
4. If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed, please contact us at support@moneylat.com. We may remove allegedly infringing content and terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

Any redistribution or reproduction of part or all of the Digital Content in any form is prohibited without our prior written permission.

12. User representations and restrictions

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

1. you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms and will comply with them;
2. you are at least 16 years old;
3. you will not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and your use will not violate any applicable law or regulation;
4. you are not located in a country subject to a comprehensive government embargo, and you are not listed on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

You agree not to:

1. copy, scrape or systematically retrieve content from the Service, including by automated means such as bots, spiders or scrapers;
2. resell, sublicense, publish or share your account or the Digital Content with others;
3. modify, translate, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any part of the Service, except where the law expressly allows it;
4. circumvent, disable or interfere with security features, usage limits or access controls of the Service;
5. use the Service to build a competing product or to train artificial intelligence models;
6. use the Service to harass, harm or mislead others, or to distribute spam or malicious code;
7. otherwise breach these Terms.

If you provide information that is untrue, inaccurate or incomplete, or if you breach these restrictions, we may refuse, suspend or end your access to the Service.

13. Third-party services

The Service relies on and may link to third-party services, such as Apple, Google, Firebase, Superwall and AI model providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites or content, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

14. Disclaimers

• Information. All statements and information in the Service are for informational and educational purposes only, and are not a substitute for professional financial, legal or tax advice.
• Results. We make no guarantees about your learning outcomes or any trading results. Results vary from person to person and depend on many factors, including your experience, financial situation and level of commitment. Examples are illustrative and do not represent typical results.
• Accuracy. We work hard to keep the Digital Content accurate and up to date, but markets and regulations change and errors can happen. We do not warrant that the content is complete, correct or current.
• As is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MONEY LAT OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY TRADING OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY DECISION MADE OR ACTION TAKEN IN RELIANCE ON THE DIGITAL CONTENT OR THE AI TUTOR, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Money Lat, its affiliates, and their officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of (i) your use of the Service, (ii) your User Content, or (iii) your breach of these Terms or of any law.

17. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 11, 14, 15, 16 and 18) will survive.

18. Disputes and governing law

Most concerns can be solved quickly and informally. Before starting any formal claim, please contact us at support@moneylat.com with your name, the email linked to your account and a description of the issue and what you are asking for. We both agree to try in good faith to resolve the dispute within 60 days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Money Lat is established, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where the law allows it. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

19. App Store and Google Play terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Money Lat only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the App must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

If you downloaded the App from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. In case of conflict regarding store purchases, the store’s terms apply.

20. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update, modify or discontinue the Service, temporarily or permanently, at our discretion. We may also update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features or legal changes. We will notify you of material changes through the App, by email or by updating the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
